A cumulative total of 7,463 clients received minimum package for positive health dignity.

Adolescent and adults living with HIV were provided with  a minimum package for positive health dignity and prevention  including  counseling, partner testing, STI screening and treatment, risk reduction counseling and provision of condoms, adherence support, PMTCT, enrollment into community support programs and stigma reduction these were provided by the EHU staff, health facility or other partners referred to.

 

Adolescents were managed in a youth friendly environment and followed up by VHTs and expert clients oriented in adolescent health in the community. EHU provided HCT services to partners of PLHIVs.

To this end EHU utilizes VHTs, and other community groups like the PHA networks to employ the one-on-one approach to reach out to partners of PHAs for HCT. The clubs identified PHAs who need support for disclosure and HCT services extended to their partners.

These were referred to designated HCT sites. A cumulative total of 7,463 clients received minimum package for positive health dignity.
